Strength in Care, established in 2022, are here to give you and your child the professional support care that you need to feel comfortable and a little more stress-free.

 

We provide NO COST, In-Home Private Care Services  to children UNDER the age of 21, who may have significant developmental and/or physical disabilities. Many of our families are surprised to hear that they qualify within 30 Days of their application submission.

 Your Child may qualify for OUR services if:

  • Your child is under the age of 21

  • On Georgia Medicaid, and have an medical necessity

    • Examples:

      • Cerebral palsy

      • Muscular Dystrophy

      • paraplegic

      • Spina bifida

      • Cystic Fibrosis

      • Epilepsy

      • Rett Syndrome 

      • Hydrocephalus

      • Congenital Heart Defects

      • Idiopathic Arthritis 

      • Osteogenesis Imperfecta - Brittle Bone Disease

      • AND MORE!!!!!!!

NO WAITLIST !

This program is not a waiver service, meaning your child can begin receiving services immediately after approval.

 

 

The intake and evaluation process typically takes up to 30 days for service approval.

 

During this time, parents are actively involved in developing their child’s service plan and setting treatment goals.

Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)

This program was created to aid parents with the assistance of their child's everyday living needs:

  • Medication Administration

  • Hygiene Care

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Taking Vital Signs

  • Wheelchair Assistance

  • Collecting Treatment Plan Information

  • Turn or Reposition Assistance

  • Changing Sheets and Bed Linens

  • Observation

  • Communicating Issues to Nurse or Doctor

  • Assistance with Daily Living Activities

  • Communicate issues to Nurse or Doctor

  • Assistance with Daily Living Activities

  • Trach Care (Including Changing and Cleaning)

  • Gastrostomy Tube Care (Including Tube Feeding, Cleaning, Changing)

  • Bagging via Trach or Mouth

  • Respiratory Treatment

The In-Home Skilled Nursing Program is designed to serve eligible members based on a medical necessity determination for Children under the age of 20 years 11 months. We are here to make an even better environment for you and your child to ensure that they receive the supports that they need.

Is your child under 21? Does your Child need help with everyday living Activities? Feeding assistance?Incontinence care? Transfer Assistance? Bathing, etc.? Does your Child have Medicaid? If so, then your Child may qualify for free in home Care services.
